Villa D’Este is located in Playa Vista, a planned coastal community in West Los Angeles. Using highly articulated forms derived from Spanish Colonial architecture, Villa D’Este greets the community with two-and three-story volumes facing the street fronts, while the landscaped interior courtyards are framed by taller, three- and four-story facades. Its plan mirrors that of its sister project, Villa Savonna, with one-, two-, and large three-bedroom units over subterranean parking.
